“He would enjoy playing here” – Draxler wants Ozil to quit Arsenal for PSG

PSG midfielder Julian Draxler wants Mesut Ozil to swap Arsenal for Paris this summer.

Ozil’s £140,000-a-week contract expires in the summer of 2018 and talks have been shelved for the end of the current season while Arsene Wenger’s future remains unknown.
Draxler moved to PSG from Wolfsburg for a fee in the region of £34million in January.
The Gunners almost signed the German international from Schalke in January 2014 before the Bundesliga side blocked the move.
But now Draxler is attempting to lure Ozil away from north London as he decides whether to extend his stay.
“I would love to play with him every day,” Draxler told the BBC.
“For me, he’s a great player. I enjoy to play with him for every training, every match with the German national team.”
“He would help every team in the world and I think he would enjoy the life here and even to play for PSG.”
Ozil’s form has been patchy this season but the 28-year-old has still managed to record eight goals and eight assists in the Premier League.
The team’s poor overall form has left Arsenal facing the prospect of finishing outside the top four for the first time since the 1995/96 season, with Ozil facing more criticism for a perceived lack of effort.
Despite the doubters, Ozil compares far more favourably than PSG’s other attacking midfield options in their respective league, scoring more goals and contributing more assists than Verratti and Draxler combined.
