Jose Mourinho discusses Antoine Griezmann’s potential Man United transfer

Jose Mourinho has discussed Antoine Griezmann’s potential Manchester United transfer, claiming it would be disrespectful to Atletico Madrid.
The Frenchman claimed earlier in the week that his chances of joining Man United were a six out of 10, and that he’s prepared to leave and wants to win titles.
The Frenchman claimed earlier in the week that his chances of joining Man United were a six out of 10, and that he’s prepared to leave and wants to win titles.
Reports claim United’s chances of signing Griezmann have improved on their success in the Europa League final as he’s set to make a decision on his future within the next two weeks.
Speaking about a potential move, Mourinho was reluctant to comment about Griezmann after the 2-0 win over Ajax in Stockholm.
“I do not want to talk about Griezmann because that would be disrespectful to his club, Atletico,” he said.
“Just how I do not like others talking about by my players, I’m not going to talk about Antoine either.
“It meant a lot. It means playing in the Champions League, winning our third title and winning a cup that this club had not won.
“United, as a club, are at the highest level, but the team has lived through difficult times in the last three years. We are under construction, but there is no better way to build a team than to win.
“We return to the Champions League, but not as favourites. We return by winning a title, an important title, it’s better than finishing fourth, third or second.”
It’ll only get better for United this summer as Mourinho was able to sign the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly without Champions League football to offer.
