What Arsenal need in the transfer window

Weakness: Reliance on player chemistry
Arsene Wenger believes the way to create a successful football team is to bring together a talented group of players who have the skill, confidence and initiative to win games by playing off each other and improvising on the fly.
It’s a beautiful conception for how the game should be played but one that has left him open to accusations of being tactically naive and behind the times of late, especially when the plan falls apart in the absence of players such as Santi Cazorla who are key to keeping things fluid.
However, since shifting to a 3-4-2-1 formation, the emphasis has shifted. Granit Xhaka has finally looked ready to be the chief conductor from deep. Rather than continuing to assume that Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil can dovetail their way to a league title, Arsenal must use the areas of weakness in this system as a shopping list. Left-back Sead Kolasinac is an excellent start.
